This dataset contains passive Bluetooth detections captured by fixed roadside sensors across a major U.S. metropolitan corridor, providing a continuous record of device presence near vehicles in transit. Each event includes a device identifier, Bluetooth protocol type, device name when broadcast, manufacturer identity, signal metrics, precise sensor GPS coordinates, and timestamps. The collection covers both BLE and Classic Bluetooth and reflects smartphones, wearables, in-vehicle systems, and telematics devices. Spatially enabled for mapping, proximity and dwell analysis, and temporal surge detection, the dataset is designed to be combined with a companion license plate recognition dataset for multi-signal fusion, improved vehicle occupancy inference, and richer traffic and fleet analytics.
